B8M Stud are stainless steel studs that are commonly used in pipe flange connections
Each stud comes with two G8M heavy hex nuts and are sold as a set.
Standard for Studs = ASTM A193
Standard for Nuts = ASTM A194
Thread = 8 TPI (Threads per Inch)
Grade B8M Studs are made from a more corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel.
The "M" stands for molybdenum, which is added to the alloy to significantly improve its resistance to corrosion and pitting, especially in saltwater and acidic environments.
