M6 TEE NUT FOUR PRONGED ZP

Thread pitch = 1.0mm

4 Prong Tee Nuts are most commonly used for wood and plastic.
The tee nut has a flange at one end with 4 pointed protruding prongs which penetrate the material to hold it flush and captive and therefore locking and preventing rotation during assembly.

They are ideally used in applications where there is frequent assembly and disassembly, such as bed frames and cabinetry.

To Install:
Drill a pilot hole slightly larger than the diameter of the Tee Nuts barrel.
Insert the barrel of the Tee Nut into the hole and hammer the flange until it is flush with the surface. The prongs will dig into the wood.
From the opposite side of the material you can now thread your machine screw or bolt in.
