A Button Socket screw features a Mushroom or Dome shaped head creating a nice clean finished look. They have an in-hex drive and are fastened using a hexagonal wrench also known as an Allen key.

Thread = 28 TPI
Commonly supplied in high-tensile alloy steel (typically class 10.9)
Suitable for light to medium fastening tasks; not generally recommended for high-tensile, critical applications, unlike standard cap screws.
Length is measured from under the head to the tip of the screw.
